Pat Neal has been building high-quality homes in Southwest Florida for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and a former Florida Senator and House Member. His business prowess and proactive vision have successfully guided his company through several economic upswings and downturns. Pat Neal is currently leading a major company expansion into several new counties in Southwest Florida and says one of his greatest joys in life is bringing new family members into his growing business.

Pat has been married for 35 years to his wife, Charlene Neal. Charlene owns her own successful Manatee County business, PureStyle, which was named Best Interior Designer by Sarasota Magazine’s Best of 2011. Together they have two sons. Their eldest son, John, serves as President of Neal Land Ventures and their son Michael is in the building management program at Neal Communities.

Pat Neal was recently on Governor Rick Scott’s Transition Team and was charged with the successful reorganization of the Department of Management Services. He is a member and former chair of the Judicial Nominating Commission, was elected as the Secretary for the Board of Directors of TaxWatch and currently serves on the Center for Governmental Efficiency Committee of TaxWatch.

Neal was formerly the chair of the Florida Commission on Ethics, a state agency created in the Florida Constitution, which oversees the conduct of Florida’s 380,000 public employees.

In addition to leading his successful business endeavors, Pat Neal is also a major philanthropist. Over the past decade, he and his company have contributed more than seven million dollars in support of local community organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Women’s Resource Center, 4-H, Child Protection Center, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of both Manatee and Sarasota. Pat Neal spearheaded several environmental protection measures as Chair of the Committee on Natural Resources of the Florida Senate in the 1980s. Today he continually seeks opportunities that follow his philosophy of considering the land first to maintain it for future generations.
