Mark Sochar - President Neal Signature Homes
Mark
manages all new home construction. With a Master’s degree in business
from Indiana University, Mark has built more than four thousand homes
during his career. His exacting attention to detail has helped him
establish an impressive list of satisfied Neal homeowners. Mark and his
staff communicate with customers to report on the progress of each home
during every phase of construction and to ensure that the process of
building a Neal home is an enjoyable experience. Mark, who joined
the Neal staff in 1989, has earned a reputation in the industry for his
vast knowledge of the industry and his strong relationships with
vendors and contractors.
John Neal - Executive Vice President
Shortly
after finishing work towards a BA in Economics and Interdisciplinary
Studies of English at Hampton-Sydney College in middle Virginia, John
began to open doors in corporate America right away by joining an arm of
C&F Financial Corporation
(NASDAQ: CFFI). As the director of Technology and System Design, John
led this Fortune 500 company's mortgage division through its largest
period of growth and office expansion since the company was founded in
1927. John returned to Bradenton in 2004 to join his father's business
as the fourth generation developer and homebuilder to participate in the
general real estate field. Since joining the team, John has been named
as both a "Top 40 under 40" in the Sarasota area and as "One to Watch Young Entrepreneur"
by two different area business journals. Showing great attention to
detail and market understanding, and a natural business acumen for real
estate and deal making, John works closely on land acquisition and the
entitlement process with the hands-on-approach for which his family is
known for. Guided by the Neal Signature Homes philosophy of natural
design, integrity and commitment to responsible growth, John is set to
continue the tradition of superior home and lifestyle development with
long-term outlook and concern for the local community.
Leisa Weintraub, MIRM & CSP - Vice President Marketing & Creative Director
With
over 25 years of experience in new home marketing, Leisa manages all
marketing and public relations for Neal Signature Homes. She has also
been responsible for creating, designing, and managing the overall
design theme for Neal’s communities. Leisa was named Marketing Director
of the Year by the Southeast Builder’s Conference Excel Awards. She
holds a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University and the
professional designations of Member of the Institute of Residential
Marketing (MIRM) and Certified Sales Professional (CSP). In addition,
Leisa has served as a Sales and Marketing Council member of the Manatee
County Home Builders Association, Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of
the Aurora Awards, Co-Chairperson of the Excel Awards and on the Design
Committee of the National Association of Home Builders. Under her
direction, the company has won numerous awards and recognition by all of
the major building associations.
Randy Craig - Construction Manager
Randy has 35 years of experience in the construction industry; 21 of those years as a Neal team member. He is also a Florida State Licensed General Contractor, certified by the National Home Builders Association as a Residential Construction Superintendent and is a Registered Certifying Agent for the Florida Green Building Coalition, Inc.
Mike Kramer - Custom Design Manager
Mike Kramer brings more than a decade of professional building experience to the
company. A graduate of the University of Buffalo, Kramer earned his BPS in
Architecture with a minor in Urban Planning. Before joining Neal Signature Homes, he
worked for nine years in various capacities in the southwest Florida division
of a national home builder. He has honed his skills and expertise in
architecture, product development, permitting and drafting—giving him thorough
hands-on knowledge of the industry. He is recognized for his commitment to
excellence in every detail of the home building process. His ability to master
current technology allows him to also streamline processes, maintain
efficiencies and keep costs down
Kay Westberry, Executive Assistant & Customer Information Concierge
Kay comes to us with over 10
years of leadership and management experience with builders and developers
specializing in luxury homes and high-rises. She was born and raised in
Bradenton and joined the team as our Executive Assistant and Customer
Information Concierge in April of 2010. She was previously with WCI
Communities, where she was the Sales Office Manager, Customer Relationship Director and Assistant to the
Director of Sales and Senior Project Manager. Her earlier experience includes working
for Beall’s Inc. as a Loss Prevention/Human Resources Training Specialist, and
the Hyatt Corporation, where she served as the Senior Sales Manager for Florida
and National Association Conventions.
Christine Heuring, Purchasing/Estimator joined Neal Signature Homes, LLC and John Neal Homes, Inc. as Purchasing -
Estimator in April 2010. Christine attended Queens College in Charlotte,
NC, where she earned an AA degree, in 1988.
She is a certifying agent for the Florida Green Building Coalition and has been in Custom Residential and Commercial New Construction for over 10 years. Christine’s, home building experience includes working directly with clients on the personal selection process, working with designers on model home construction, specifications and selections, as well as, local Architects preparing scopes of work and budgets on “Design Builds” which in turn has created lower costs and increased productivity.
